Manu Bhaker was born on 18 February 2002 in Goria village of Jhajjar district in Haryana. Her father, Ram Kishan Bhaker, works as a chief engineer in the Merchant Navy.

Is an Indian Olympian who competes in shooting. She won two bronze medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. First, she opened the Indian account in the Paris 2024 winning a bronze in the women's 10 meter air pistol event, which made her the first woman shooter from India to win a medal at any Olympics.

In the same edition, she partnered with Sarabjot Singh in the mixed 10 meter air pistol team event to win another bronze medal for India, becoming first Indian woman ever to win 2 medals at an Olympics and also the first Indian ever to win 2 medals at an Olympics since independence of India.

मनु भाकर का जन्म 18 फरवरी 2002 को हरियाणा के झज्जर जिले के गोरिया गांव में हुआ था। उनके पिता राम किशन भाकर मर्चेंट नेवी में चीफ इंजीनियर के पद पर कार्यरत हैं।

उसी संस्करण में, उन्होंने मिश्रित 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल टीम स्पर्धा में सरबजोत सिंह के साथ मिलकर भारत के लिए एक और कांस्य पदक जीता, जिससे वह ओलंपिक में 2 पदक जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय महिला बन गईं और भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद से ओलंपिक में 2 पदक जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय भी बन गईं।
